Tournament Information

Welcome eager contestants!

We are happy you will be joining us this day to participate in our baronial tournaments. The tournaments rules are as follows:

Heavy Armored Combat

Heavy championship will be a blast! Holmgang with no weapon duplicates. Meaning, everyone fights everyone, buuut you can’t use the same weapon form twice.

Heavy combatants must be carded and authorized in great weapons prior to the event to use them in the tournament.

Rapier Armored Combat

Rapier is a Round Robin or Double Round Robin depending on number of competitors. Best game, with a destructive challenge round if we have enough MoDs/white scarves/ champions in attendance.

Games Tournament

Calling all who enjoy games. We will be playing the ever favorite bocce ball. We will also have game of the goose and one other game to be revealed at the event.

There will be a special prize of a Fox and Geese game board for the winner.

Archery and Thrown Weapons Tournaments will be held at Banner War due to safety concers related to space availability. Thank you for your understanding.

Youth and Family Activities

Unto the populous, there will be a contest that everyone will be able to participate in during the games Championship!
Choose your favorite competitor to root for in the bocce portion of the competition and put a raffle ticket in their jar.
A ticket will be selected out of the bocce winners jar and the lucky winner will receive a hand made game made by the current games champion.
There will be 2 games to choose from. Please see Facebook event website for pictures!

Greetings to the Youth of Aquaterra,

The cry has gone out across the land for the champions of Aquaterra to step forward and one day my friends, you will be prepared to answer that call. But not this day, this day we will practice. There is more to a champion than simply fighting well. A champion must also be prepared to serve, serve their Royals, serve their fellow fighters and serve the people. We will practice being of service. Each child will be adorned with a youth Aquaterra tabard and paired with a fighter. They may be expected to carry water and fetch weapons. They can expect to engage with and learn from their seniors about fighting and chivalry. They can expect to spend a day cheering and helping to build up the champions of Aquaterra.

Requirements: 10 to 17 years old, parental/guardian supervision required

Please contact Alanna Von De Huga, Youth Armoured Combat Warden of Aquaterra, prior to the event to make arrangements.
