There should be plenty of camping space for all if you miss the deadline, but do not give our landocrat or other members of the event team any grief about the open camping space, etc.
The North Field (where the archery takes place) is an unimproved flat expanse. There will be handicapped biffies.
Fee Type | Cost* |

*SCA Members will receive a $5 member discount off the cost listed above. |
After Evening Court, we shall begin the festivities with the Best Volcano Contest (winner to be chosen by applause). Then we are having a Pot Luck featuring Barbequed Foods. Roasted beast and vegan entries should be cooked separately, as should any gluten-free options (please bring ingredients cards for food allergy considerations). During the Feast, we’re having a fun Bardic Contest for a prize!
Then we’re having a Vulcanalia themed TOGA PARTY on Saturday night, where Roman-inspired Garb is encouraged (but the authenticity police are not) and Festive Beverages may be discretely shared. There’s even a Belly Dancing Class! Frivolity is the order of the night! Beware of Silliness – it will happen – you have been warned!
Lists Open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday
Opening Court at 9:00, those who would vie for a Championship, must attend and Swear an Oath to Their Excellencies, Ulrich Hell Licht and Fiona ingen Conchobair.
Heavy Championship is from 10:00 to Noon
Rapier Championship is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
These will be held at the Stage/Shelter area across from the Ag. Museum.
The Archery Protector Tourney is from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Royal Round Range
The Youth Protector Tourney is also on the Royal Round Range from 3:00 to 4:00 (if we have a TAM)
Youth Armored Combat practice at Noon (see above) PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT.
Youth Archery on the Royal Round Range, Classes (see above), Youth Protector Tourney (see Tourneys, above) PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT
Youth Arts & Sciences Contest, Entries Dropped off at 10:00 a.m. in the A&S Area, no documentation required.
Best Volcano Contest (for the young and the young at heart) to “erupt” after Evening Court, prize awarded based on applause!
HORSIES – out in the far corner of the North Field (past parking) there will be Equestrian activities to see, like Archers shooting from horseback! Petting and feeding of horses is allowed, but not riding. PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT WITH THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.
Baroness Fiona ingen Conchobair not only needs help with Gate on Friday, we need someone to RUN Gate on Saturday! And Ciosa will need help with Lists, please! Many hands are always appreciated for set up and take down! MANY Target Archery Marshals are needed to run all of the shoots. Should there be an interest in Cut & Thrust we would need a marshal for that. NOTE: during the plague times many Marshaling Warrants and Fighter’s Authorization Cards have expired. Please be sure that yours are up to date. We realize there is a bit of bottle-neck due to the dearth of those able to authorize such, so don’t wait till the last minute.
Interested Merchants should contact Ryan Wolf, the Merchant Coordinator at: leomoons@hotmail.com
Children’s Archery Class, taught by Rusulund Geyer, begins at 10:00 a.m. and will be off and on all day (so she can take breaks) at the Royal Round Range. PARENTS MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES.
Youth Armored Combat Practice, taught by Baron Thorkell, will be at Noon on Saturday, on the List Fields near the Shelter area.
Archery Equipment Inspection Class, taught by Tymme Lytefelow, will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the Shelter
Bellydancing classes will be taught by Magdi Tynkere on Saturday Night at the TOGA PARTY (after the Pot Luck BBQ and Bardic Prize Competition).
