Baronial Championships!!
Saturday:
Bardic Championship:
For the Bardic championship, prepare two bardacious pieces to perform – poems, songs, tales, dance, theater or other suitably bardnificent material. At minimum, one piece should be period or period-adjacent. Your material does not have to be appropriate to your particular persona. Be prepared to share details about the presentations and to provide answers to these questions three:
1. Why do you want to be Bardic Champion?
2. How do you plan to serve the Barony as Bardic Champion?
3. A mystery question, to be asked while you are in the hot seat.
Additionally, audience members will be invited to ask questions.
Prepare assiduously, bardifically until the day of, whereupon which inhibition shall be cast aside in favor of inspiring, educating, entertaining, and bardariffically enjoying yourself with good company.
A&S Championship: We are asking a class to be taught for your competition. We want to know about your project intimately, how it’s made, history of it, and why you chose it. If your not comfortable with a large amount of people and speaking, we can, of course, accommodate you down to The Baron and The Baroness and the current Champion. This Barony needs someone who is willing to teach a few times within their Championship, even if it’s just at our events. We Champions represent the pride and people of this Barony. Show us what it is that makes you dive headfirst down your A&S rabbit hole. We are excited to hear and see your efforts!
Sunday:
Shield of the Barony Defender: For those heavy fighters who have never won a tournament, be prepared to fight in a Round Robin
Embers and Ambrosia is still accepting merchant applications at this time. No additional site fees, only a request to donate something to baronial largesse.
Some merchants attending include:
The Beadhive
Rosa’s Squirrel Wares
Silver Wolf Trading
We’d love to have your classes or guild show off here!
