Tournament Information

Schedule

Thursday, April 11:
– 5:00 pm: Site Opens for people traveling in (note, gate and activities will mostly begin Friday evening)

Friday, April 12:
– gate opens 12 pm Friday
– 6-8 pm: Artisan Social at the small gazebos near War Field (this is an informal gathering- bring just yourself, yourself + any A&S projects you’d like to share, or even a snack!)
– 10 pm: Torchlight Tourney on the beach/War Field (Heavy fighting)
– 10 pm-?: Tiki Party on the beach/War Field for all (all are welcome at the party, you must provide ID showing you are 21+ to be served alcoholic beverages, sponsored by Sir Greaghan)

Saturday, April 13:
– 9:00 am: Rapier Armor Inspection
– 9 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm: Archery field open, and Archery championship for the College of Lyonsmarche

– 9:30 am to 11:30 am: Rapier War Scenarios
– 10 am to 12:00 pm: Beginning Pewter Casting Class
– 11 am- 5 pm: A&S Display and entries for Lyonsmarche’s A&S Champion, small gazebos near War Field

– 12:00 pm Heavy Armor Inspection
– 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm Heavy War Scenarios
– 2 pm: Gate closes (please find a site steward if you arrive after this)
– 3:30 pm: YAK
– 4 pm- 5 pm: Pottery Class
– 5 pm: Bardic performances for A&S Champion, small gazebos near the War Field
– 6 pm: “Court” (informal presentation of Champions and awards, on the beach)

Sunday, April 14:
– 1 pm: Site Closes

 

War Scenarios:

MIC: Sir Osrik Rolfsson

  1. Champions Battle: Each Army’s champion will fight each other (No Archery) 1 War Point
  2. Open Field battle: 20min Unlimited Lives. (Archery Allowed) (1 War Point) 
  3. Battle of the Beach: Invade / defend beach. 4 Lives each side (No Archery) (1 War point)
  4. Capture the Flag: Multiple Flag areas to defend / attack and hold. Unlimited lives, 10min battle, will be done twice (Archery Allowed) (1 War Point)
  5. Bridge Battle: 15min unlimited lives (Archery Allowed) (1 War point)
  6. Fall Back:  Attacking Army has unlimited Lives. Defending Army will only have one life at hard point areas and will fall back to the next point after killed. Time event this battle will be done twice. (No Archery) (1 War point)
  7. Fight and Fight Some More: Open field with fortifications unlimited lives fight until you can’t fight. (Archery Allowed)

Rapier Scenarios:

MIC: Seamus de Mantel

  1. A Morning Duel: Each army will select a champion for a single life duel. (1 point)
  2. Brawl in the Streets: Armies fight amongst buildings with timed reinforcements. No firearms.(1 point) 
  3. Fight for the Town: Timed capture the flag battle with structures. Firearms allowed. (1 point)
  4. A Fighting Retreat: Each army takes a turn with no resurrections holding the town for as long as possible against the opposing army with unlimited resurrections. Firearms allowed for defenders only.(1 point)
